Downlighter fire rated sleeves to make existing and new downlighter fittings into fire
rated fittings.
This downlighter sleeve is a lightweight metal unit containing intumescent material
that expands in a fire, holding the unit in place and sealing the hole in the ceiling structure,
thus preventing fire and smoke penetration and maintaining the fire rating of the
ceiling/fioor.
IDR downlighter sleeve is designed to fire rate existing and new installation of downlighter,
according to document B of building regulations.
This cover is easy to install and provides over 60 minutes fire protection.
